Katie Holmes has an exciting announcement.
After some time away from acting, the Batman Begins actress made the decision to tap into her Broadway roots last year with the revival of Our Town. And the rave reviews she's received from critics and audience goers seems to have paid off—in the form of a Tony nomination that is. Announced Friday, the production is nominated for "Best Revival" at this year’s Tony Awards, which is an exciting update for Holmes and the entire cast.
To celebrate the nomination, the show's official Instagram page shared a clip from one of their recent performances with the caption, "You are pretty enough for all normal purposes. Just what every girl longs to hear. We've been missing this beautiful production that’s now a Tony nominee for Best Revival."
