King Charles just accidentally let his sweet nickname for Queen Camilla slip out during a recent public engagement, and it’s frankly not that surprising.
King Charles Reveals Sweet Nickname for Queen Camilla During Royal Outing
Cute pet names FTW

The couple was spotted planting a tree alongside the Swedish King and Queen, Carl Gustaf and Silvia, at Highgrove House earlier this month, and as King Charles was helping his wife figure out where to plant the soil, he made the statement, "On this side, darling, this side." Darling? Pretty typical as far as nicknames go. But pet names aside, it's also nice to see the royal out and about after some recent health-related concerns over these past couple of months, specifically the temporary side effects he experienced back in March in relation to his ongoing cancer treatment.
King Charles also recently appeared at the 80th anniversary of VE Day celebrations, which saw him making seven back to back appearances. This included the royal salute on the balcony at Buckingham Palace, the boat ride to check out the Tideway Project—colloquially called London’s “Super Sewer”—and attending attending David Attenborough’s latest film’s premiere.

"A robust schedule neither confirms or denies exactly how the king is feeling these days and how the monarch looks has little to do with the status of his health. (We also still don’t know exactly what type of cancer he’s fighting.) But this week felt like a win-win for both Charles and royal watchers," wrote Rachel Bowie, PureWow's senior director of special projects and royals in her recap.
All you can do is take things day by day, and all seems to be well in the world of King Charles right now (especially with his "darling" right beside him).
