There’s no denying that Nicole Kidman is a full-on icon—and she’s not slowing down anytime soon. Just in the past year, the award-winning actress has taken on several buzzy roles, starring in Netflix’s The Perfect Couple, Babygirl, and Prime Video’s Holland. And while her acting schedule is packed, she’s still managing to keep her finger on the pulse of fashion. Case in point: her latest take on the no-pants trend.

On Monday, April 28, Kidman shared a short, stylish video on Instagram. In it, she’s wearing a sleek long-sleeve black bodysuit with a plunging V-neck, paired with sheer black tights. Her long blonde hair flows in the wind as she leans against a balcony overlooking crashing ocean waves. The clip is set to Lorde’s dreamy track, “What Was That,” adding to the effortlessly cool vibe.

“Love from France,” she simply captioned the post.

This isn’t Nicole’s first go at the no-pants trend either. She wore a similar look on the cover of Elle last year and also sported the style during Ausmusic T-Shirt Day, an annual day of recognition and support for Australian musicians. (As a reminder, she and her husband, country music star Keith Urban, are both Australian.)

Whether you love it or are still undecided, the no-pants trend has been one of 2024’s standout fashion statements. From bloomers and boxers to bodysuits and swim bottoms, pantless looks have taken over everything from the runway to everyday streetwear.

Nicole joins a growing list of celebrities embracing the look. Lady Gaga, Beyoncé and, more recently, Chrissy Teigen—who turned heads at the 2025 Grammy Awards in a silver cutout bodysuit and dramatic cape—have all gone pants-free in style.

So I guess it's safe to say, this trend is here to stay.
