According to Hello magazine, Swift was visiting the Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital in Hollywood, Florida on June 13 when a sick young boy, delighted to see her, innocently asked, “Why are you in Florida?” (Note: Internship opportunities in media await for this quick-witted little guy.) Swift replied, “My boyfriend is training here, so I just thought I’d come and see how you’re doing, just drop in on you, you know what I mean?”

This latest reference to Kelce as her “boyfriend” quiets the fan chatter that volumed up earlier in June when Chicago wedding planner Ellie Nottoli posted an invitation to the couple for NFL star Cole Kmet's wedding to Emily Jarosz. (Also note: This wedding planner has a future in publicity.) The invite read “Taylor and Travis Kelce, Table 13” which was interpreted by fans to mean the two now shared Kelce’s surname, and were wed. Not incidentally, seating the couple at table 13 was a nod to Swift’s lucky number.
Alas, the happy couple didn’t make that wedding, opting instead to attend Kelce’s cousin’s wedding in Tennessee. Taylor wore a gorgeous blue floral dress and reportedly took pictures with attendees, but no special wedding rings or surprise double ceremonies were noted. However, it's been anything but a "cruel summer" for the pair, since Swift and Kelce have been in Florida while Travis prepares for the 2025/2026 NFL season, while Taylor takes takes time away from the spotlight after her record-breaking, nearly two-year world tour.
So instead of honeymooning, Swift turned up at a Florida children’s hospital and dazzled patients and doctors alike. Chief of surgery Jill Whitehouse, M.D., shared a picture with Swift and posted “Chief of Surgery meets Chief of the World! Undeniably one of the kindest human beings I have ever had the privilege of meeting. Thank you #taylorswift for making dreams come true for all of our patients, families, and staff today!” As for if and when Swift makes Travis Kelce’s dreams come true with a walk down the aisle?
