Whether she's rocking the no-pants trend or a voluminous, 1970s-inspired bouffant pony, Nicole Kidman knows how to make a fashion statement. And her approach to swimwear is no exception.
The Babygirl star recently shared a series of snaps on Instagram from the Côte d’Azur (Kidman is in the area for this year's Cannes Film Festival) and in two of them, she is sporting one of summer's hottest swimwear trends.
In the first slide, Kidman is standing on a rocky path overlooking shimmering blue waters and donning a white cover-up teamed with a white sunhat with a black ribbon. With the wind blowing in her hair, the actress and producer looks effortlessly stylish and relaxed.
Equally chic is the swimsuit that Kidman is sporting underneath her cover-up, shown on the second slide. The Australian native knows that covering up in the sun is essential, so it's no surprise that she has chosen a long-sleeved black swimsuit for frolicking in the Mediterranean Sea.
As multiple outlets have noted, black and white swimwear is very on-trend for the season and a timelessly elegant look.
The actress also showed off her swimming skills in the photo series, as well as a charming snap of herself sharing a sunset drink on the French Riviera with actor Pedro Pascal. In the snap, the pair sits across from each other with Kidman reaching out and clasping Pascal's hand—a sweet gesture that has fans buzzing. "Manifesting Pedro and Nicole in a movie together," says one commentator. "Not me being jealous of your picture with Pedro Pascal love you Nicole!!!" says another.
Kidman finished the slideshow with an image of herself in a striking red dress that she wore for the 2025 Kering Women In Motion Awards and Cannes Film Festival Presidential Dinner.
